Super Mario DS Games Nintendo DS Mario Games for DS, Nintendo created and released the platforming adventure game Super Mario 64 DS in 2006. It is the first side-scrolling Super Mario game for the Nintendo DS.
It is a 3D platformer that involves the player switching between four characters. Yoshi, Luigi, Mario, and Wario, collect 150 Power Stars in numerous levels.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
Yoshi is shown strolling across a lovely paradise in the game’s opening scene. He’s just about to go back to his friends when a baby falls on top of him.
The baby seems to be in good health, but Yoshi’s Island is under attack from Kamek. To save the baby, Yoshi must retrieve him before a countdown timer expires.
While on his mission, Yoshi encounters two supporting characters. Poochy, a creature that resembles a dog, and a white stork. The stork is designed after the white stork that delivers babies to their parents. And is kidnapped along with baby Luigi at the start of the Super Mario DS Games.
The dog-like character can be fought in the Gather Coins Mini Battle. Where its cannons shoot coins into an area. It can also be defeated by a Winged Cloud Maker or Anywhere POW. Rising platforms can be ridden on for a limited time; if a Yoshi rides them too long, they pop.
Super Mario World 3: Bowser’s Minions
Bowser’s Minions is a tactics RPG based on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, released for the 3DS in 2013. It adds new enemies, new stages, and a new side mode.
The story revolves around a Goomba who is separated from the rest of Bowser’s Koopa crew. And sets out to assemble an army of Koopas, Goombas, Shy Guys, and other typical Mario enemies. He then searches for the missing Koopa King.
Using the game’s tactics system, the player selects the correct troop types. Melee, flying, or ranged — to face off against the opposition’s squad, then winds them up and lets them fly away. Battles can be long and tedious, though they are often entertaining.
The Super Mario DS Games includes various enemies, such as Venus Fire Traps and Walking Piranhas. The latter appear in pipes and quicksand, spitting one or two fireballs at Mario. And also have a white, non-spitter counterpart that sits still or patrols an area.
Super Mario World 3: Yoshi’s Island – The Lost Levels
Yoshi’s Island is an excellent addition to the Nintendo Switch Online library. It’s a game about a younger version of Super Mario World’s Yoshi. Which has to find baby Mario after it gets snatched away by the Koopa wizard Kamek.
It’s a platformer that employs physics-driven cause and effect to create a bizarre setting for natural video game humor. one of the most fun and creative games in the series. It introduces a new mechanic in the form of red coins, and it also employs elaborate level designs. This pushes you to look around and set everything off in certain order to get a key.
Sonic: Lost World is getting two pieces of downloadable content. Both of which are based on Nintendo properties. The first is a Yoshi’s Island Zone stage. Which has Sonic whizzing through obstacles like pipes, coins, shy people, and piranha plants?
Super Mario World 4: Yoshi’s Island
Yoshi’s Island was the first game in the Mario series to focus on a new character rather than a returning one. This meant that it introduced many new enemies and gameplay elements. Including Yoshi’s ability to eat enemies and make them into eggs.
The game was a success and helped establish the Yoshi series as a separate series of games. That would eventually lead to sequels and spin-offs. It also brought critical acclaim to Shigeru Miyamoto’s art and game design career.
It is a traditional side-scrolling platformer. But it has a lot of non-linearity that makes it more interesting. It also features the feather cape power-up, which was not seen in any of the previous Super Mario DS Games.
